In April 2009 the Airways was contacted by Terry & Dean of the cult movie Fubar to be one of the sets for the sequel movie Fubar II. November 2009 we shut the Tavern down for 3 days of filming & when we re-opened the name “Peelerz” stuck! In the fall of 2010 the movie Fubar II was released in movie theatres across Canada adding to the already famous legacy of the Airways & the oil patch!
